Volunteer Accompaniment Training
Our Youth Ministry program includes peer accompaniment training for team members to support others in discerning their charisms. Each volunteer will also be trained in both one-on-one and small group discernment.

This Parent portal is included in most programs for ALL parents, and provides simple, practical tools to deepen parents’ understanding of charisms and foster meaningful conversations with their teens about their faith.

Our primary catechesis resource is our Spirit Rising curriculum. Over the course of five core sessions and one bonus session, teens will receive an incredible foundation for charism discernment.
Session 1: Identity
Exposing teens to this question of identity and getting them to reflect on where their own identity comes from.
Session 2: What Are Charisms?
Help the teens understand what charisms are and that they have them.
Session 3: Discerning Charisms
Help teens to reflect on their most likely charisms and plan their charism discernment journey.
Session 4: Hearing God in Discernment
Assist the students in trying different types of prayer, asking questions related to charism discernment and laying the foundation for them to hear from God in prayer throughout their life.
Session 5: Charism Commitment
Assist teens in committing to their charisms and understanding that they have an indispensable role to play in the larger church.
Bonus Session: Troubleshooting Hearing God's Voice
Further build on Session 4 and help teens understand why hearing from God might be challenging for them.

The Youth Ministry Program
Most resources are the same between the Youth Ministry Subscription and the Youth Ministry Program, with a few exceptions. Those exceptions are noted under each section.
Charism Assessments
The Youth Ministry Program includes 75 assessments and the Youth Ministry Subscription includes 10 assessments.
Additional assessments are $5.50 each for both programs and include a custom report for every person who takes it.
Curriculum & Training
The full Spirit Rising curriculum, as well as Youth Presenter Training and the Youth Resource Portal, are included in both programs.

Training for Accompanying Teens in Discernment
This unique course, called Volunteer Accompaniment Training, is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping teens discern their spiritual gifts. This three-month training provides all the basic tools needed to help teens discern one on one and in small groups. The Youth Ministry Program comes with two seats to this amazing program, and the Youth Ministry Subscription comes with one.

My name is Jill Simons. I am Executive Director of MPM, and I created this program with my team.
I have been obsessed with charisms since I was 17 years old, which is also when I first discovered how little there was available to learn about charisms. I have spent the last 17 years learning about charisms through the writings of the Popes, the Catechism, early Church fathers, and the lives of the saints, as well as the instruction of the Holy Spirit through the hundreds of people He has graciously allowed me to accompany in one-on-one charism discernment.
